Dear Parents, Guardians, and Visitors:
Welcome to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic School!
Our school certainly is a special place to be. We have academic rigor, strong Catholic values, and Mercedarian spirituality. Our faculty remains committed to preparing our students to be successful problem solvers in order to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world.
We support a student-centered learning environment with technology integration that enables and encourages every student to think critically and communicate skillfully. And at the foundation, we encourage our students to grow in their faith. I believe this has an enormous positive impact on everyone – especially our students.
I have taught in three different schools within the Diocese of Cleveland for over twenty years in the fourth through eighth grades. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education at Notre Dame College and my Master’s degree in Education and School Leadership from Baldwin Wallace University.
I believe that my experiences as a teacher, mentor teacher, and teacher-leader have provided me with the knowledge to understand and meet the needs of teachers, students and parents. I truly believe that Our Lady of Mount Carmel provides opportunities for students to thrive and become successful in their future endeavors.
Collaboration and discussions with faculty, students, and parents are vital for the success of our school community. You will be welcomed in my office to discuss what is in the best interest of your child.
I am thrilled to lead OLMC as Principal and look forward to the success of our school and students.
God bless,
Danielle Blansette
